Custom software and internal tools

Custom software built around how you already work

Every business has a job somebody does by hand every week because no product on the market fits. That job is usually the cheapest thing to automate and the most expensive thing to keep ignoring.

What you get

What we build

Software that fits the business rather than a subscription you bend the business to fit.

Booking and scheduling systems

Availability, reservations, confirmations and reminders, with the rules your business actually uses rather than a generic calendar.

Dashboards and reporting

One screen that answers the question you currently rebuild in a spreadsheet every Monday morning.

APIs and integrations

Making two systems talk that were never designed to. We build, document and host the layer between them.

Client and staff portals

Secure logins where customers check their own status and staff update it, which removes a whole category of phone calls.

Internal tools

The small ugly workflow that eats hours weekly. These are often the highest return projects we do.

Data migration

Getting years of records out of whatever they are trapped in now and into something you can query.

How it works

How we scope software

The risk in custom software is building the wrong thing well. We spend real effort making sure that does not happen.

We watch how the work happens now

Before proposing anything we map the current process, including the workarounds. The workarounds are usually where the real requirement hides.

We agree the smallest useful version

We identify what has to exist for the tool to be worth using, and we build that first so value arrives early.

We build in visible stages

You see working software throughout, not a status report. Direction changes are far cheaper found early.

We hand over documentation and access

You get the code, the credentials and a written explanation of how it works, so you are never held hostage by your own software.

We run our own platforms

We are not only writing software for clients. We build, host and maintain our own products on the same stack.

  • REST APIs serving live production traffic
  • WordPress plugin development
  • PHP and MySQL backends at scale
  • React and React Native front ends
  • Automated deployment pipelines

Why us

Buy the subscription when it fits, build when it does not

We will tell you when an off the shelf product would serve you better. Plenty of problems are solved perfectly well by software that already exists, and paying us to rebuild it would be a waste of your money.

Custom becomes the right answer when the off the shelf option forces you to change how the business works, when the per user pricing stops making sense at your size, or when the thing you need simply does not exist for a market this size.

That last case is common here. A lot of software assumes a market and an infrastructure that does not match the Caribbean, and the gap is exactly where a custom build pays for itself.

  • We will say when you should buy instead of build
  • Fixed scope agreed before work starts
  • You get the code and the documentation
  • Hosting and deployment handled
  • Built by the people who maintain it
  • Reachable by phone in your time zone
Questions

Frequently asked

How much does custom software cost?
Custom builds start at $5,500. The range is wide because the work is, so we scope carefully and quote a fixed price rather than an hourly guess.
How do I know it will not run over?
We agree a written scope with a fixed price and timeline before starting, and we build in stages you can see. Changes you request mid project are priced separately and openly.
What if I only need a small tool?
Small internal tools are some of the best value work we do. Tell us the task and roughly how long it takes your team each week.
Who hosts it?
We can host and manage it, or deploy to infrastructure you control. Either way you get the credentials and the deployment process in writing.
What happens if we stop working together?
You keep the code, the data and the documentation. We will brief your next developer if you ask us to.
Do you integrate with software we already use?
Usually yes, if it has an API. Tell us what you are running and we will confirm before quoting.
